Zoom Video Call
This service functions similarly to a traditional phone call, but it provides the added benefit of a Zoom video call, allowing for face-to-face interaction. This format enables individuals to connect on a deeper level, no matter where they are in the world, fostering a sense of being heard and supported.
Research shows that around 70% of communication is nonverbal. Through a Zoom video call, I can effectively interpret body language and other nonverbal cues, gaining valuable insights into what may not be articulated verbally.

Hi, my name is Sharlene, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with empathy, understanding, and genuine care. Walking along the beautiful Shell Cove Marina is one of my favorite ways to recharge—it connects me to nature, clears my mind, and reminds me how transformative simple self-care practices can be. Inspired by the positive impact it has on my own wellbeing, I decided to integrate this energizing experience into my professional counselling services.
I bring over 18 years of professional experience in the Child Development and Community Services sectors, with roles such as Community Liaison Officer, Student Wellbeing Officer, and various positions supporting families and children. My personal journey as a wife, mother of two young men, and someone who has navigated the complexities of single parenting and blended family life has equipped me with deep empathy and understanding of modern family dynamics.
